Status Quo, Trends and Reflections of Academic Schools Research of Chinese Medicine

  • Academic schools of Chinese medicine are one of the distinctive features in the development of Chinese medical academics. As the education model of Chinese medicine in higher education institutions is becoming more and more standardized and unified, the characteristics of academic schools are gradually fading, which affects the academic competition and innovation. In recent years, with the attention of our nation, the research and inheritance of academic schools of Chinese medicine has been prosperous and has shown distinctive characteristics of the times, and some academic achievements have emerged from various perspectives and methods of studying it. The creation and practice of new theories have become the engine of academic development of Chinese medicine. However, there are still some problems in its relevant research in terms of conceptual standardization, cultural interpretation, application of characteristic techniques, and construction of evaluation system. Thus, there is still a long way to go.
