Abstract
Taking Shanghai colleges and universities as an example, we focused on the theme of psychological education by parent-school collaboration, and adopted a questionnaire to understand its reality from parents' perspective. The results showed that most parents had positive attitude towards parent-school collaborative psychological education. They were willing to participate in school's psychological education management, and they could maintain parent-child communication through new media. Besides, they were willing to communicate with the school online and offline in various ways, and they looked forward to receiving psychological education guidance. Parents under the age of 50 and parents of female students thought that this work were more necessary, but most parents were hesitant to actively contact schools. Therefore, it was suggested that the colleges and universities should take various measures to turn parents' idea of parent-school psychological education into practical action, guide parents to establish the awareness of scientific response to their children's psychological distress in the management of psychological education, and make good use of new media and platforms to meet parents' expectation of parent-school psychological education.
