Research on the Evaluation of Innovation Resilience and Improvement Path of China's Chinese Patent Medicine Industry from the Perspective of New Quality Productivity

  • The rapid improvement of industrial innovation resilience is an urgent need to improve the modern Chinese patent medicine industry system, and it is also an important way to continuously promote the high-quality development of the Chinese medicine economy and cultivate new quality productivity. Based on the provincial cross-sectional data of 30 provinces in China in 2021, this paper uses data envelopment analysis and qualitative comparative analysis to evaluate the industrial innovation resilience through innovation efficiency and innovation resilience level, and explores the improvement path of innovation resilience of China's Chinese patent medicine industry. The results show that there were differences in the comprehensive efficiency value of innovation resilience of the Chinese patent medicine industry in 30 provinces in China. When the outcome variable was a high level of innovation resilience, a higher number of authorized patents was a necessary condition for achieving improved innovation resilience; when the outcome variable was a low level of innovation resilience, a lower export volume of products was a necessary condition leading to low-level innovation resilience. Therefore, it is recommended to balance local industrial resources and optimize the layout of industrial innovation; optimize the intellectual property protection system and create a soft environment for industrial innovation resilience and improvement; promote international trade and expand market share in an orderly manner.
