Continuing the Chinese Cultural Heritage and Writing a New Chapter in the Inheritance, Innovation and Development of TCM Culture: A Review and Reflection on the Development of TCM Culture Disciplines at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine over the Past 40 Years

  • The development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture at Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine over the past forty years has gone through three stages: early free exploration, midterm organized scientific research, and recent rapid development of key disciplines. Our school of Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture is at the forefront of discipline construction, the combination of Marxist theory and traditional Chinese medicine culture research, major key project research, and cultural education, playing a demonstrative and leading role. Entering a new stage of development, our school's research on traditional Chinese medicine culture must adhere to the Chinese cultural standpoint, inherit the genes of traditional Chinese medicine culture, make more achievements in the "second combination", put more effort into "standing tall", and make more contributions to serving the school's "dual high" construction.
