Abstract
The demand for high-quality management in the development of traditional Chinese medicine, the expectation for interdisciplinary development in higher education of traditional Chinese medicine, and the updating and combination of knowledge in traditional Chinese medicine management are the driving forces for the development of public management disciplines in higher education institutions of traditional Chinese medicine. A review and analysis were conducted on the development history and research status of public management disciplines in higher education institutions of traditional Chinese medicine. It was pointed out that there are problems such as unclear development consensus, insignificant development achievements, and unclear development paths. In order to fully utilize the knowledge creation and discipline creation brought by interdisciplinary integration, and explore the endogenous driving force support of public management disciplines in higher traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities, it is necessary to absorb traditional Chinese medicine thinking to promote the construction of an independent knowledge system, enhance the ability to solve application problems in response to industry needs, strengthen interdisciplinary research to generate original landmark achievements, and based on mutual learning and construction to support the development of the main disciplines of traditional Chinese medicine, in order to promote the high-quality development of public management disciplines in higher traditional Chinese medicine colleges and universities.
