Abstract: Based on value-based healthcare and taking the three major elements of value-based healthcare as the core, we analyze the current status of the implementation of TCM day ward service mode in China. The TCM day ward service mode has explored the integration of the healthcare service system, the creation of a patient-centered physical and mental integration service, and the control of healthcare costs. However, there are problems such as the level of medical quality management is not optimistic, patient satisfaction needs to be improved, and cost control and value balance are unreasonable. The improvement measures are: standardizing the service system and improving the service quality; disseminating traditional Chinese medicine culture and optimizing patient experience; and establishing a cost-benefit mechanism to promote the realization of value-based healthcare.
