Jinling Trivia in the Ming Dynasty was written by Zhou Hui, a native of Jinling. It was first engraved in the 38th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1610), and then there were two volumes of
Continuation of Jinling Trivia and
Second continuation of Jinling Trivia. Zhou Hui loved the anecdotes of Jinling, and recorded those who had not been collected or detailed in the national history county, which could make up for the lack of history and had important historical value.
Jinling Trivia involves a lot of medicine, medical records, medical people and medical affairs, which is of great significance to understand the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine culture in Nanjing.
