Abstract: From the perspective of linguistic research, the vocabulary in the ancient Chinese medical book Treatise on the origins and manifestations of various diseasesis reviewed and analyzed, and some issues in the Chinese dictionary are discussed. The dictionary will be reviewed from five aspects, namely, entry supplementation, meaning interpretation, sememe discussion, example modification, and etymology exploration. Thus, the research on medical vocabulary can be a key reference for the compilation of large-scale dictionaries.
