Abstract: Traditional Chinese medicine culture is an important part of Chinese excellent traditional culture.The guideline of "creative transformation and innovative development" under the guidance of Xi Jinping's cultural thought has pointed out the direction for the inheritance and innovative development of Chinese medicine culture in the new period. The current status of the development of inheritance and innovation of Chinese medicine culture is analyzed in this paper. The creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese medicine culture in terms of protection and inheritance, resource development, dissemination and promotion as well as transformation and application through "Chinese medicine + digitization", "Chinese medicine + cultural tourism and health care", "Chinese medicine + new media"and "Chinese medicine + cultural creativity" is explored to expand the space for cross-border integration of Chinese medicine culture and create a new pattern for the inheritance and innovative development of Chinese medicine culture.
