Abstract:
The scientific research experience of medical graduate students was investigated by means of an online questionnaire based on the scientific research experience questionnaire of Australian graduate students, taking the graduate students from the First School of Clinical Medicine in a Chinese Medicine University who applied for the provincial Scientific Research and Practice Innovation Program in 2020 as a sample, in order to provide favorable conditions for their scientific research development and improve the talent training quality of medical graduate students. The study shows that the research ability of academic type of postgraduate students is significantly higher than that of professional ones, and PhDs are the main force of graduate scientific research in medical schools. In addition, mentor's instructions, research atmosphere, environmental support, and ability development have significant effects on the development of innovative ability and research experience. Therefore, it is important to guide medical graduate students to improve their self-efficacy, actively play the leading role of mentors in scientific research, and strive to create a supportive environment for scientific research and innovation, so as to cultivate the positive scientific research and innovation spirit of graduate students, thus enriching their scientific research experience and stimulating their innovation ability.
