Abstract: The construction of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) discourse system involves three key aspects: discourse construction, discourse translation and discourse dissemination. In the process of discourse construction, we should promote the generation of TCM discourse texts by tracing the essential connotation of TCM terminology, clarifying the definition standards of TCM terminology, and determining the evaluation principles of TCM terminology translation. Besides, in the process of discourse translation, we should achieve the organic unification of the source language connotation and expression form of TCM discourse by strengthening the standardization of TCM terminology translation, enhancing the discourse power of TCM terminology translation, and uniting Chinese and foreign translators in TCM translation. At the same time, in the process of discourse dissemination, a diversified and three-dimensional model of Chinese medicine foreign communication should be formed by selecting the content, expanding the communication channels, meeting the needs of the audience, and improving the communication effect. The study aims to enhance the international discourse of Chinese medicine and build a Chinese medicine discourse system that integrates Chinese and foreign countries.
