Abstract: Besides, it becomes a popular social culture. Through cultivating the social culture of respecting medicine and health care, it is conducive to building a harmonious doctor-patient relationship, improving public health awareness, and enriching the social functions in medicine. Chinese medical culture is distinctive in characteristics and rich in connotation, mainly consisting of Chinese medical theory, Chinese medical techniques, and Chinese medical ethics. The cultivation of the social culture of respecting medicine and health care with Chinese medicine culture is also necessary for innovative transformation and development of Chinese medical culture. Based on the cultural heritage of Chinese medicine, we should cultivate the social culture of respecting medicine and health care by "promoting harmony". Besides, we should continue the cultural genes of Chinese medicine by "praising elite". In addition, we should carry forward the cultural connotation of Chinese medicine by "emphasizing ethics".
