Abstract:
The Lintsing Memorial Hospital was a church hospital established by the American Congregational Church in Lintsing of Shandong Province. From 1886 to 1937, it underwent three stages: start-up, initial development, and comprehensive development. Although it was a church hospital, it was also an important local medical institution for Western medicine. It was actively engaged in medical diagnosis and treatment, medical education, and disease prevention, which promoted the spread of modern Western medicine in northwest Lu, and to a certain extent, promoted the development of medical and health care and social changes in northwest of Shandong Province.
