Abstract:
With the increasing number of international students majoring in clinical medicine (taught in English) coming to China, and the proposal of the Ministry of Education on the development strategy of "improving quality and efficiency, giving priority to quality" in the education of international medical students in China, how to improve the comprehensive clinical practice ability of international medical students majoring in clinical medicine (taught in English) in China has become one of the important issues that urgently need to be solved. Combining the recruitment and training of all English standardized patients at Anhui Medical University with the clinical teaching practice of overseas students majoring in undergraduate clinical medicine (taught in English) who come to China, this paper explores the standardized process, practical application, and existing problems of all English standardized patient training in medical settings, and proposes solutions such as using multiple teaching modes, more refined scenario simulation, and more systematic training for participants, to meet the needs of international students in China for clinical skills teaching and testing, and to provide a reference for the training of all English standardized patients in other medical schools.
