Abstract: In view of the current problems in clinical pharmacology teaching, such as single teaching methods, poor ability of students to analyze and solve practical problems, combined with the language bottleneck, limited communication ability and lack of clinical practice skills of international students in China, this project introduces the recruitment and training of standardized patients in English in our school, and makes a drug monitoring case database. The process of applying standardized patients to clinical pharmacology teaching for international students in China was evaluated based on a case database, and its teaching effectiveness was evaluated. The results show that the English standardized patient combined drug supervision case database and clinical pharmacology class teaching methods can effectively improve the knowledge mastery level, learning interest and self-learning ability of international students, help to strengthen their clinical thinking, doctor-patient communication and individualized medication adjustment ability, and improve the overall effect of clinical pharmacology teaching. This paper provides reference significance and popularizes application for the clinical medicine course training of international students.
