Abstract: This article expounds the protection measures for our country's intangible cultural heritage, introduces the application conditions for traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage and the achievements of our country's traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage. In the current process of protection and inheritance of traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage in our country, there are problems such as a small number of items listed in the national intangible cultural heritage representative list and unclear classification, the lack of protection and inheritance of traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage by units and individuals, a shortage of talents for traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage, and the further need for strengthening of soft and hard communication platforms and digital construction. The paper proposes to pay high attention to the protection and inheritance of traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage, strengthen policy support, pay attention to assessment, evaluation and training, and strengthen the team of intangible inheritors, soft and hard communication platforms and digital construction, which provides references for the inheritance, protection and development of our country's traditional medicine intangible cultural heritage.
