Abstract: One can give one's own interpretation of the mysterious Tao based on intuition, thus greatly enriching the extension of the Tao, but the core content of the Tao is beyond anyone's grasp and expression, which means that an individual as a human being has the role of promoting and enhancing ideas, values, and cultural spirit. Zhang Zhong-jing is known as the "saint of medicine" and his work is known as the "origin of prescription books", so his academic thinking must contain the spirit of humanity. Through organizing the literature on Zhang Zhong-jing's himself, events, and works, this study aims to discover the cultural spirit contained in his scholarship and promote it, so that those who study the scholarship of Zhang Zhong-jing can also understand his core ideas.
